Overview
This diploma helps you to develop a basic understanding of contemporary issues in a variety of education settings, including; school, workplace, technical and higher education. There are three specialisations available:
- Educational Research
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education
- Curriculum and Pedagogy
Please note that this is not a teaching qualification.
Key features
- This course provides a pathway to a Master degree by transfer upon satisfactory completion of six units.
- Range of units covering topics, including; advanced pedagogy, curriculum studies, classroom practice, and learning design.
- You will have access to the Macquarie ICT Innovations Centre, an initiative of Macquarie University and the NSW Department of Education and Training to find new ways to enhance learning through technology.

Entry requirements
Completion of a recognised bachelor degree in education or a related field. Further details can be obtained from the relevant programs of study.
