Overview

The program is an abbreviated version of the Master of Environmental Education. The degree combines units in environmental education and environmental studies. It focuses on the interdisciplinary approach to studying the environment and the educational objectives are as for the Master of Enviornmental Education.

Articulation to the Master of Environmental Education  program is permitted when a GPA of 2.5 over four units is attained.

This program addresses the needs of education and environmental professionals seeking to diversify their career. Graduates from the GSE will develop skills and knowledge that are highly regarded by both employers and the community. Students will gain an improved understanding of environmental education and its application relevant at local, national and international levels. Graduates are suitably qualified for work with government agencies, private education and development companies, NGOs, school based educators and international bodies.
