Overview
This program is designed for established IT professionals who want to hone their skills in a particular area, build on the knowledge gained in their undergraduate degree, or to simply give themselves the edge in career advancement.
Students in this course take fewer units than students in Master of Information Technology though the units are the same. Appropriate performance in this program can be counted for credit towards three quarters of the Master of Information Technology.
The Information Systems specialisation explores how the information gathering and storage systems upon which businesses rely are designed, tested and managed. Our curriculum ranges from the specifics of data mining and business intelligence systems to the practicalities of handling modern legislative trends in security and data privacy.

Entry requirements
Bachelor degree with substantial computing component with a GPA of 2.75 or Graduate Diploma in an ICT discipline or Bachelor degree in non-ICT discipline and 3 years of experience.
