Overview
This program is designed for established IT professionals who want to hone their skills in a particular area, build on the knowledge gained in their undergraduate degree, or to simply give themselves the edge in career advancement.
Students in this course take fewer units than students in Master of Information Technology though the units are the same. Appropriate performance in this program can be counted for credit towards three quarters of the Master of Information Technology.
The Networking specialisation provides the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of networking and telecommunications fundamentals, from the physical medium through to software and application protocols. Our units of study extend from the specifics of network management, to the latest of emerging technologies in areas such as wireless networking, traffic engineering, quality of service and mobile ad-hoc networking.

Entry requirements
Bachelor degree with substantial computing component with a GPA of 2.75 or Graduate Diploma in an ICT discipline or Bachelor degree in non-ICT discipline and 3 years of experience.
