Overview
This diploma is designed to help fourth year psychology students gain the necessary theoretical and practical training to meet the requirements for registration as a psychologist. You will be able to develop your therapeutic and professional skills, as well as address other areas of psychological skill development based on your interests.
You will complete considerably more hours of training than is required for registration, in order to equip you with the necessary skills and competencies to be a registered psychologist.

Suitable if you have completed an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited 4th year sequence of study in psychology and want to pursue a career as a psychologist and complete your registration requirements.

If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

Relevant work experience is an advantage.

You may incur an additional cost for individual supervision, which will vary on the basis of individual arrangements made with external supervisors. You will receive assistance in arranging suitable placements for the period of your enrolment, but placements are not guaranteed.
