Overview
This degree will help you develop as a scientist-practitioner and be able to make a substantial, advanced, and ongoing contribution to the application of neuropsychological knowledge. The combination of coursework, field placements and a research thesis will help you to become well-grounded in theory and practice, and capable of moving across a range of clinically oriented areas. You will be able to assume full independent professional responsibility in clinical settings and maintain an enquiring research attitude in day-to-day work.

Entry requirements
Completion of prerequisite units from the Master of Clinical Neuropsychology or equivalent from another institution.
Admission will be competitive, and consideration will be given to:
- performance in the prerequisite units
- quality of your research proposal
- doctoral referee's report from the academic who agrees to supervise your doctoral research
- information supplied on a supplementary personal information sheet
- interview performance
English language requirements
If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

Accreditation
The Doctor of Clinical Neuropsychology is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and approved by the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. You will be eligible to apply for registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia after completing your degree. Completion of the Doctor of Clinical Neuropsychology leads to endorsement as a clinical neuropsychologist in Australia.
