Overview
Master of Accounting (Professional) is Australia's largest accounting postgraduate program and provides a pathway for university graduates in any discipline to acquire qualifications that are fully recognised by CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA).

Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with a GPA of 2.70 (out of 4.00).
Students whose first degree was not taught in the English language are required to pass an approved English language test.

If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

The units in this program have been designed to meet the educational requirements of CPA Australia, ICAA and other international accounting bodies. Bill Blair
Bill is a Senior Lecturer with the Department. His research interests include Accounting Education and Learning, Environmental and Social Accounting, Critical and Interpretive Perspectives on Accounting.
Bill's teaching interests are in the areas of accounting and information systems, accounting systems design and development, fundamentals of management accounting, social and critical perspectives on accounting, and introductory financial accounting.
