Macquarie University's Master of Applied Finance offers genuinely applied finance, taught in the CBD by highly experienced practitioners. It is portable across teaching locations, assists students preparing for CFA examinations, and allows specialisation in Funds Management, Corporate Finance, Risk Management and Instruments and Valuation.

This program is offered in Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore and Beijing. The full time program is offered in Sydney only. The part time program in Sydney and Melbourne is only available to students who hold a working visa.

    Suitable for

    Students who are working in the financial services industry and who want to deepen their knowledge of applied finance. It is also suitable for those students who come from a non-finance background and who would like to transition across to the financial services sector

    Entry requirements

    Bachelor degree or equivalent and approximately 2 years' work experience in finance or similar area. If you do not have an undergraduate degree, but can demonstrate a willingness and ability to study AND substantial relevant work experience, you may be eligible for entry.

    English language requirements

    If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.

    Approximately 2 years in a finance-related field is preferred.
