Overview
Whatever your field of interest, from linguistics to philosophy, postgraduate study in Arts broadens the mind and helps you to branch out in the direction you want to grow. Students can begin with a single course, and work their way right up to a masters. Students obtain analytical and research skills valuable within professional environments, and can gain entry into the MPhil or PhD research programs.
This program introduces students to the art and architecture of the ancient world. The program focuses upon the visual record of the ancient Egyptians, Copts, early Christians and Byzantine culture, but also considers the artistic contributions of Greece and Rome in order to familiarise students with the stylistic markers of the major civilisations of the eastern Mediterranean region.
