Students can begin with a single course, and work their way right up to a masters. Students obtain analytical and research skills valuable within professional environments, and can gain entry into the MPhil or PhD research programs.
Postgraduate study of Egyptology covers all aspects of Egyptian civilisation including: funerary beliefs and practice; the Akkadian language; hieroglyphics; socio-political developments in the Pre- and Early Dynastic period as well as Old, Middle and New Kingdoms; religious thought in Egypt; Egyptian architecture and art including wall paintings and reliefs and Egyptian archaeology

Entry requirements
The Egyptology postgraduate program requires some previous study in this discipline, including study of Hieroglyphs for those who wish to take language units (for further details see the individual unit descriptions online).
