Profiles
Our Students
Shirren Premaratne
“I chose to study the Master of Information Technology at Macquarie because it offers one of the most interesting and flexible masters programs. Also, the Department of Computing has some interesting research groups and the masters program offers access to some of these groups through project work. The good thing about this degree is that for me it provides a good balance between theoretical and industry relevant practical knowledge. It also helps that the staff are approachable and supportive.”

“One of the most powerful aspects of this program is the fact that many of the staff have strong industry experience. It’s vital that our students not only see the theory that makes systems tick, but understand the practicalities of getting people to use them.”
