Overview

The Master of Information Technology in System Security has become increasingly more critical in the Information Technology arena as organisations have become more and more reliant on their information systems. Securities of those systems have risen to become a major issue for all businesses globally and we address the security skills gap at all levels, from the technical foundations of networked security to the managerial analysis required to identify security holes, establish risk management plans and audit existing systems.

This program is designed to equip students with a leading edge in securing their organisation's data and information whilst being at the forefront of major technological changes in security management.

Entry requirements

Bachelor degree with substantial computing component with a GPA of 2.75 or Graduate Diploma in an ICT discipline or Bachelor degree in non-ICT discipline and 3 years of experience.

English language requirements

If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.
