Overview
This degree will provide you with clinical education and training in the general medical care of patients in hospital. It covers a range of subjects including patient assessment and communication, hospital therapeutics, resuscitation, clinical procedures and ethics.

Suitable if you are a hospital doctor (Career Medical Officers and other medical staff employed in public and private hospitals) who does not have, and are not in the process of acquiring, a specialist medical College qualification, but who wish to acquire a university qualification which signals mastery of the skills and competencies required for the safe, effective and efficient management of patients in hospital.

Entry requirements
- Possess a MB BS (or equivalent registrable qualification) from a recognised medical school;
- Completion of at least one year of postgraduate medical practice;
- Full registration as a medical practitioner in Australia;
- Certificate of Good Standing with registration authority in jurisdiction of residence or citizenship;
- Evidence of continued medical study since graduation;
- Interview, portfolio of experience, together with support based upon previous direct supervision by hospital physicians.
English language requirements
If you have completed the NSW HSC or equivalent you satisfy the English proficiency requirements.
