By combining arts with primary education, you'll have over forty arts majors to choose from. You'll study teaching methodology, participate in a primary school based Professional Experience program and satisfy the Key Learning Area (KLA) content requirements of the NSW Institute of Teachers:

The main focus is on preparing you to work as a primary school teacher.

Yvette joined Macquarie University in 2005. Prior to her academic career, Yvette worked in senior and consulting roles in the banking and IT industries. Yvette's area of expertise is how information systems affect human resource management policies and practices in the service sector, in particular retail banking. Other research areas include information systems theory and technologies in learning and teaching. This combination of research and industry experience provides a strong basis for teaching the real world context of information systems.
