Teach primary school children. Become an open-minded and confident primary teacher who is responsive to academic needs.
By combining arts with primary education, you'll have over forty arts majors to choose from. You'll study teaching methodology, participate in a primary school based Professional Experience program and satisfy the Key Learning Area (KLA) content requirements of the NSW Institute of Teachers:

- Health and Physical Education (PDHPE)
The main focus is on preparing you to work as a primary school teacher.
The School of Education offers teacher education programs as well as a wide range of educational studies.
You will explore:
- how children grow and develop
- the policy issues facing education in Australia
- how curriculum is conceptualised and constructed
- Theories on learning
