Overview
Combine the problem solving and research skills from a law degree with the creative and communications skills of arts.
You'll study established legal studies areas such as constitutional law, international law, contract law and family law. You'll also look at areas of contemporary concern such as consumer law, environmental law, health law and information technology law.
You'll learn the role of law in society and explore ideas across disciplinary boundaries.
Macquarie dancers learn how to become dance artists: articulate, skilled, bold and individual.
Addressing the freedoms and strengths of contemporary dance, the program offers movement forms including hip hop, yoga, contact improvisation and social dance.
You’ll study contemporary dance techniques, choreography, music theatre, dance on screen, improvisation and history. In a final year project, dance creativity, you can dance with an independent voice, bringing a project from concept to performance and beyond.
All units offer creative possibilities, fostering independence, discipline and freedom. We measure technical improvement on an individual basis, and welcome the novice as well as the experienced dancer.
Students develop dance writing skills throughout the course, to become articulate and multi-skilled dancers.
