Overview
Pursue your interest in science and law.
In this degree you'll develop knowledge of scientific and legal principles while building problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Chemistry is:
- the science of converting one substance into another
- the molecular interpretation of the world around us.
Advances are made at the molecular level in diverse areas. Chemistry plays a key role in our economy, environment, lifestyle and health, and in processes happening in the natural world.
A major in chemistry can lead to a wide range of careers including medical, veterinary, agricultural and environmental analysis, pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries, science education, science journalism, and biomedical and chemical research. It is also an excellent foundation for postgraduate studies in medicine and pharmacy.
