View courses for International students.
Overview
Environmental science is the study and management of earth surface environments and processes. In this degree you'll study social and scientific aspects of environmental science.
You'll be introduced to environmental issues and learn in detail the science and technology associated with environmental science.
You'll explore legal, political, ethical and economic ideas about the environment as well as people's perceptions and desires when tackling environmental issues in the real world.
The specialisation in Environmental Management concentrates on the major in Environmental Management in combination with a minor in one of six science areas (Biology, Chemistry, Climate Science, Environmental Earth Science, Environmental Geology or Spatial Information Science).
It explores relationships between humans and their environments, and patterns of distribution and consumption of resources that influence sustainable futures. With special knowledge of the spatial and temporal patterns in the human and natural environment, environmental managers can play a major role in resource and environmental management. There are core units drawn from human geography and environmental science.
