Profiles
Our Graduates
Renata Pronk, Graduate, Bachelor of Marine Science
Renata Pronk decided to undertake a Bachelor of Marine Science because she always had a fascination with the ocean and all the organisms that live within it. "Macquarie University is one of the few universities that offers marine science and it is well equipped with supportive staff and lecturers."
Renata currently works as a Research Officer at the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water in the marine reserves division of the Parks and Wildlife Group.
Our Expertise
Professor Rob Harcourt. Lecturer Marine Science and Marine Birds and Mammals
Rob lectures in Marine Science and Marine Birds and Mammals. Rob believes in getting out of the classroom and into the wild. For example, in one of his classes his students do surveys from Sydney 45km out to sea measuring seabird and marine mammal abundance and diversity.
