The Bachelor of Planning looks at the importance of environmental management, development, infrastructure and services in creating the spaces in which we live.

In this degree you'll study environmental management and urban development. You'll learn principles of sustainability, geography, project design and legislation in order to explore planning issues and practices in Australia and around the world.

Our Students

Nicole Stephenson, Bachelor of Planning

"I have always had a keen interest in geography and the Bachelor of Planning at Macquarie University offered the opportunity to explore my interests further, both through subject choice and also hands-on practical experience. Upon graduation I hope to work for planning sectors within local or state governments. After gaining a bit of experience, I would then really like to work overseas as a planner."
