Profiles
Our Graduates
Owen Tong
If you really enjoy problem solving and like challenges, you might consider taking Actuarial Studies at Macquarie. I learnt to analyse problems in different ways, always being encouraged to dig deep and think 'outside the box'. The majority of subjects are very structured, and the academic staff are happy to help students even outside their allocated hours. If people say that you give up your life when you do Actuarial Studies...well you don't! During my studies, I still found time to hang out with friends, play tennis and learn karate.
