Overview
Psychology is the science of the human mind. It looks at why people behave the way they do and what motivates behaviours and social trends.
Health, or the prevention of disease, is a social, political, cultural and economic issue in Australia and around the world.
In this double degree you will use scientific methods to study personal and social issues. You will be introduced to psychology and study cognitive processes, psychological assessment, development and learning. You will gain a multidisciplinary view of health and an integrated awareness of the determinants, distribution and consequences of health and ill health in contemporary societies.
