Commerce, or business, is the exchange of goods or commodities. In this degree you will study management, marketing, finance and accounting as well as undertake research and study in a science discipline of your choice.
With a major in Psychological Science you will gain:

- The Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychological Science allows you to choose subjects from across the University. The Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychological Science requires some science subjects.
- The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science – Psychology are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and count towards the first three years of professional psychology training.
- This major does not lead to registration as a psychologist or to professional postgraduate training in psychology

Entry requirements
Entry to the major in Psychological Science with the above ATAR score is only possible after students have completed 12 credit points and achieved a grade point average of 2.5.
Students who have achieved the ATAR score for entry to either Bachelor of Arts - Psychology or Bachelor of Science - Psychology degrees but wish to major in Psychological Science as opposed to doing an accredited degree in psychology, may enrol in Psychological Science major from commencement of their study.
All students who achieve a grade point average of 2.5 on completion of 12 credit points may transfer internally to the accredited Bachelor of Arts - Psychology or Bachelor of Science - Psychology degrees.
Please be aware that a Bachelor of Arts (Psychological Science) and Bachelor of Science (Psychological Science) do not lead to registration as a psychologist or to professional postgraduate training in psychology. It is the degrees called the Bachelor of Arts - Psychology and the Bachelor of Science - Psychology that are accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and count towards the first three years of professional psychology training.
Note: All 200-level Psychology units require PSY122 as a prerequisite, in addition to PSY104 and PSY105, except for the following:
PSY248 only requires PSY122 as a prerequisite
PSY250 requires 24 credit points from any area as a prerequisite PSY238 requires only PSY104 and PSY105 or LING110 as prerequisite/s
