Engineering at Macquarie is a unique electronic engineering program. The main focus is on practical learning based on the use of modern electronics, telecommunications techniques and software technologies to design, construct, manufacture and manage systems and products.

In this program you'll choose from six engineering majors:

You'll complement your engineering studies with your choice of science major. There are over 20 majors available to choose from in the Bachelor of Science.
Environmental geology deals with the interaction of people and the geological environment. This includes problems due to human occupation and exploitation of the Earth, and hazards that impact on society.
Unlike geology and geophysics majors, this major focuses on the near-surface environment. You will gain a specialised understanding of soils, rock masses and their structure, the flow of water and pollutants through the Earth’s surface materials, and geologic hazards.
Graduates find work in the rapidly growing fields of environmental geology, geotechnical engineering and hazard assessment.
