"I chose Macquarie because of the flexibility it offered in terms of study options e.g. offering many courses externally, part-time study etc. UNSW, the university I was at previously was not very flexible and didn't cater to students with different needs.
Furthermore, Macquarie allowed me to study 2 diploma courses concurrently so I could fulfill the requirements for one of the courses while studying both, rather than first finishing one and then the other. No other university that I know of was allowing me to do that. It meant that I was able to use my time more effectively studying both courses at the same time."
